February- August 2003- TBA
Adam’s Angels Presents:
“Project Remember Me: A Celebration of Life”

Dates, times and locations will be announced in a few weeks. This project will be an ongoing work of art with completion in August 2003. So often we hear the number— almost 3,000 lives lost. We rarely see their faces or hear the loved ones stories. What about the faces and stories of those who helped with the rescue effort? The volunteers who were there in the aftermath? The children who were in school in New York that day? What about the senior citizen living in Florida flying his flag high? Project Remember Me: A Celebration of Life will show the faces and stories of: Victims of 9/11/01, Loved ones left behind, Rescue workers, Volunteers & Americans who were impacted in some way, shape or form on 9/11/01. The project will be ongoing until mid-August 2003. 8×10 hearts will be constructed and a photograph will be placed inside those hearts. They all will say “Remember Me:” followed by the person’s name above the photo (Victims of 9/11/01, year of birth will appear under their name). A few lines about that person will be included below their photo. Project Remember me will culminate with a “Celebration of Life” reception. This “A Celebration of Life” will be held in September 2003. After the reception, Project Remember Me: A Celebration of Life will have the option of moving around the country to show the lives affected by the events of 9/11/01 and then returning to a space somewhere in New York or simply remaining in New York. It is so important for us to focus on the positives and celebrate life. By showing the faces of those affected, we can assure that no one ever forgets.
